Outkast c\u2019est l\u2019histoire d\u2019Andr\u00e9 Benjamin a.k.a Andre 3000 et Antwan Patton a.k.a Big Boi.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0Les deux se rencontrent en 1992, na\u00eetra alors une des formations<\/span><\/strong> <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">les<\/span><strong><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> plus talentueuses et fantasques du genre.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Quand il est question de hip hop et de rap, la discussion tourne souvent autour des deux mastodontes que sont New-York et Los Angeles. Le premier est le berceau du genre et le second a su se d\u00e9marquer grace \u00e0 une identit\u00e9 et un son bien distinct. Plus r\u00e9cemment, la ville d\u2019Atlanta fait parler d\u2019elle, v\u00e9ritable vivier de talents, notamment de trappeurs comme <a href=\"https:\/\/in-my-world.com\/40-trentetrois\/marque\/future\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Future<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/in-my-world.com\/40-trentetrois\/marque\/playboi-carti\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Playboi Carti<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/in-my-world.com\/40-trentetrois\/marque\/21-savage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">21 Savage<\/a> ou encore <a href=\"https:\/\/in-my-world.com\/40-trentetrois\/marque\/migos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Migos<\/a>. Fini les battles dans la cafet&rsquo; de leur lyc\u00e9e, les deux comp\u00e8res voient d\u00e9sormais les choses en grand. Produit par le groupe de producteurs d\u2019Organized Noise, <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/0yPagRrAgIU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Southernplaylistcadillacmuzik<\/em><\/a> sort en 1994, le 26 avril exactement. L\u2019album combine avec brio influences soul et funk, comme sur le morceau <em>Funky Ride<\/em>, un morceau groovy aux guitares langoureuses, qui rappelle les envol\u00e9es funk du grand Bootsy Collins. L\u2019album passera plusieurs semaines dans les charts et The Source donnera 4,5\/5 au projet. Outkast remportera en 1995 lors des The Source Awards, le prix du meilleur nouveau groupe rap. Une sc\u00e8ne mythique retiendra l\u2019attention de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement. Alors que le torchon br\u00fble entre l\u2019Est et l\u2019Ouest, le duo monte sur sc\u00e8ne, Andre 3000 prend le micro et donne son avis terminant par \u00ab\u00a0le sud a quelque chose \u00e0 dire\u00a0\u00bb; une simple phrase qui en dit long sur les aspirations de toute une ville.
